IndigoEcho'sperformance on the World Art stage at the Edinburgh festivalwas broadcast live on the web and also to big screens inLondon's Covent Garden and to New York's Time Square. Theband report that the show went well with over 700 inattendance. Next stop for them is Greenbelt.

Blackpool's Kato havebeen asked to headline a festival in Frauenfeld, near Zurichover the August bank holiday weekend. They're disappointednot to be able to be at Greenbelt but a top slot at thisfestival drew them away. The band are still preparing forthe US release of Seasider which will include fournew tracks.

The Room 3 Records venue on the Edinburgh festival fringe is reported to have gone well, with just one last evening to go, featuring YFriday. Last night's Robin Mark concert sold out and the label's own bands have been well received. Next stop for Room 3 is a showcase afternoon at Greenbelt.

Angel is the name of a new project from Dave and Sue Clemo and Band. They have just converted a garage to use for rehearsal and recording space and are hoping to gather the finances to release the album by Christmas. They've also been playing a range of festivals, including the first ever Whitby Gospel Music Festival.

Blueprint won the final of a 'band of the year' contest which was part of an international festival of music held at Pontardwe, South Wales. The band's harmonies and lighter sound contrasted with the heavy-rock feel of much of the evening but despite a power cut two songs into their set the band won the prize of money and recording time.

The slow pace of news over the past couple of days is the result of the relocation of Britlinks to Cheltenham Racecourse for the Greenbelt Festival. Now that we're on site we can report that the festival is coming together quickly and the site is looking fantastic. Day tickets will be available on site and there are still weekend tickets available if you don't yet have yours. Look out for some reports from the festival on this site over the weekend.

Rodney Cordner has just returned from the Peace Festival in the USA where he played with Pete Seeger. He's reuniting with Jean-Pierre Rudolph for a tour of Germany over the end of August and beginning of September and they'll be touring Ireland during September... Secret Archives of the Vatican now have some t-shirts available through their website.
