This band has split up
formed in summer 2000, aieris cite a diversity of influnces on their sound such as our lady peace, tonic, third eye blind and lowgold, though the aieris sound has at times also been compared to u.s. band live. With two EPs under their belts and recent gigs played at king tuts, the attic, 't' break, along with greenbelt festival, manchester night & day and the edinburgh festival, little groups of people across the country have begun to be drawn to the tight, vocal-drivensound that is aieris.
Scottish indie-rockers Aieris are currently involved in distribution negotiations for their Sophomore EP. The EP was recently described as "clever" by the NME and the band say it has attracted "definite interest from two UK distribution companies". They hope that this means the EP will be repackaged and released across the UK this spring. The band are also planning an extensive tour for the spring/summer.
