work with 'The Pais Project' a schools work christian

The band say they are very much still together but not
performing for the year.

Superhero have
been talking to several record labels over the past
month, both in the UK and America, and they say it
seems likely that they will sign a deal before the end of
the year. They have also been approached by a
mainstream label in Glasgow who want to sign them
on to a development deal, release a single and see
where that takes them. The band are weighing up their
options. They have been asked to travel to Iceland in
the new year to do a short tour, in conjunction with a
radio station. The radio station will be sending a rep to
see them play at Christmas Rock Night in Glasgow on
Friday 7th Dec. Next year looks to be a busy one for the
band. On top of everything else, American web based
music outlet www.cdbaby.com are arranging a US tour
for Superhero, which will take place during late May and
early June.

Former DNA Algorithm man, Daniel Beddingfield, has found himself at number one in the singles charts this week with his debut single, "Gotta Get Through This". Martyn Joseph's UK tour seems to be going well, with many well attended shows. There are reviews now up on his website as well as details of the last few shows of the tour. Images of the show at Fibbers in York were captured on webcam and may be archived on their site, though the site is temporarily unavailable so we were unable to check. Dates for Martyn's next tour, "Faith, Folk and Anarchy", which he'll be undertaking with Tom Robinson and Steve Knightly are now in our gig guide and Martyn's new live album is now out. Support on the current tour has come from Sarah Masen who has just set up an e-mail newsletter you can sign up for at sarahmasen.com.

Well the new
Delirious? single, "I Could Sing Of Your Love
Forever" has been out for a week now and entered the
charts yesterday at number 40, their lowest entry since
their first single "White Ribbon Day", but amongst the
fiercest competition they've yet experienced for chart
placings.
Daniel Beddingfield has slipped one place to
number two, after two weeks at the top.

Some of you may remember a Scottish band who
made a few waves a few years back who went by the
name of Fabulous. What their manager describes as
the driving force behind that band has finally resurfaced
in the new guise of bigman. The band had their debut
gig at King Tuts in Glasgow at the end of last month.
The sound is said to have matured, becoming "deeper
and fuller". The debut single, due for release between
now and mid-spring 2002 should give those of us
outside Glasgow a chance to check that.
