Delirious? have confirmed some more TV appearances and were due to be featured on Children's BBC this afternoon. They will be appearing on Scottish TV on Friday and Live and Kicking on Saturday morning. There's no indication yet as to whether there will be any more TV appearances before the single launch on June 4th.

Cathy Burton (former Blueberry vocalist) is going into the studio next week to record a solo album which she hopes to release in July. Iain Archer has just completed touring as part of Snow Patrol supporting Ash. BottleRockit have also just started recording an album which will be produced by Matt Hay (Babybird, Robbie Williams, Feeder) and which will feature their new bass player Mark Bowater (son of worship leader Chris).

Word UK is to be sold by its US parent to UK distribution company STL. Financial details of the arrangement are not available, but it has been announced that the what was Word UK will operate as Premier Music and Books as a division of STL and will continue to be headed up by current MD Graham Williams who will join the main STL board. Premier Music and Books will retain distribution rights of Word Entertainment products in the UK and South Africa for at least the next five years.

Julie Lord has recently been filmed for a feature on the "Entertainment News" programme on digital channel 'God Digital'. The programme will be focussing on what musicians do as their day jobs and will show Julie in her work as a vocal teacher in schools and colleges around Northumberland and Tyneside.

Simon Goodall and friends Dave Morris and Stu Barber have recently released a new album, When The Music Fades through Kingsway Music. The album sees them performing songs written by Matt Redman, Paul Oakley, Ken Riley and others. Simon is now working on material for his next solo album which will see him moving in a worship-music direction and will be released on his new indie label front2back.

Skinflowers are the first Britlinks-listed band to let us know that they've been exploring the format with some live recordings from their recent show in Harlow. Fire Fly, who are now well into the process of recording their new album, have just announced Ben Griffiths as their new drummer. Ben is a drum teacher and has settled into the band quickly. He'll be recording drum tracks for the album in the next week or so and the band are hoping for a summer release.

Project Mayhem, a new independent dance act, have just released their debut CD EP entitled Now Is The Time. The EP contains four brand new studio tracks alongside two songs recorded live earlier this year. The EP is available directly from the band for five pounds.
