The band will be doing a tour of Spring Harvest venues before heading to Canada for a short tour there. Their previous album Seasider is still selling well in the states and the band now have some copies to sell to anyone interested.

Delirious? have confirmed that their next single, "Waiting for the Summer", will be released on June 4th. The band will be appearing on the covermount CD with Smash Hits magazine on March 7th. The CD compilers apparently approached the band who were more than happy to offer the track "Hang On To You" from Glo. Got any unusual ideas for how the band could promote the new single or any other comments? Discuss them on our discussion boards.

Our new indie of the month is the latest release from Dan Donovan, The Hex The Ghears. An album of unusual power and intrigue, Dan's collaboration with Hex and The Ghears is certainly a change from the all acoustic Leaven Dell which preceded it. As usual we have realaudio, MP3s and three copies to give away at http://www.britlinks.co.uk/album/.

As we reported previously, Bristol based indie rockers Steve have signed with US label Forefront and they've now started work on their new album. They're planning to keep their website up to date with news from the studio and are hoping to tour extensively once the album's completed. It seems that Andy Hunter of Trip has also been signed by Forefront.

The Grassrootz Festival has had to change venues to a larger more accessible site at Bewl Water Reservoir. This means that up to 1000 people can now attend the one day event, but unfortunately they can no longer offer camping facilities. The lineup has now been completed and will include Jube, Jonah, One:Lite, Cashu and Phatfish. There may be one or two more bands added to the bill at a later date, but no more bands are currently being sought.

Following her showcase with Coastal Dune at Dingwalls last week, Caroline Alexander is said to be working through a number of possible record deals, including one with Europe's biggest rock label, Massacre Records, for four albums. She'll be flying to New York shortly to meet with some US companies. It looks likely that she will sign with Massacre, but further offers are pending.

U2 have finally announced european dates for their Elevation Tour. They'll be playing in Manchester, Birmingham, London and Slane during August. Bodixa recently returned to the stage and were recently invited to take part in the Mean Fiddler's 'live on line' night in London. It looks likely that one of their tracks will appear on a compilation CD put out by Uglyman Records (Elbow, I Am Kloot). Simon Cooper has a new album out called Music of the Womb and is working on a best-of. The guys who used to be in Why? have a new bass player called Ron and are hoping to debut their new act at Spring Harvest, although that has yet to be confirmed.
