The Church Times is reporting that the Junction 1 festival, planned for the same weekend as the long-running Greenbelt festival, has so far sold only 287 tickets despite forecasting an attendance of over 7000 for the August bank holiday weekend. This low pre-sales figure follows much criticism of the event's timing. Greenbelt are reporting that so far over 2,500 tickets have been sold, including twice as many youth (12-17 year olds) tickets as last year. Based on previous years' patterns Greenbelt is anticipating an attendance of over 10,000 at the event which returns for a second year at Cheltenham Racecourse.
