Delirious? have announced that they will be playing on the mainstage at this year's Glastonbury festival. The band will appear on the Sunday night and hope that this appearance will help them establish themselves within the mainstream music scene. Glastonbury has previously seen performances by Iona, Eden Burning and Why? but this slot is an unprecedented opportunity for a band who have previously been established within the "Christian music" scene.

We're putting a major emphasis on the Britlinks Student Contact list at the moment. What we want are students at each university in the UK who are either responsible for booking concerts in their university or who are able to help bands/managers contact the relevant people at their university to get a gig. If this interests you, take a look at the list and send us an e-mail.

Delirious? kicked off their Mezzamorphis tour last Wednesday in Wolverhampton. Support for the tour is provided by the band's US label mates Switchfoot, who last visited these shores for Greenbelt 97. Scottish indie-rock act Fabulous, currently promoting their new single, The Daniel Ten acted as a second support slot for Monday's show in Glasgow and hope to also join the tour for at least one English date. The tour has already stirred up some controversy on at least one mailing list, as the questions about how up-front the band should be about their faith raise their hoary head once again. Delirious? will be featured in the issue of Q magazine which releases in June.
