Reformation, the much acclaimed release from Secret Archives of the Vatican is now available with a credit card via the New Dawn Music website for only �10, as well as being distributed through J C Distribution. The strange silence from the Greenhouse, Greenbelt festival HQ, was ended recently with the announcement that the festival made a small profit from the 1998 event and that plans are getting under way for the new site and new focus for 1999. A �12 discount is available on tickets for those who book before the new year. Contact the Greenhouse for more information on that. The new site will have a variety of indoor and outdoor venues and accommodation options. See a feature article at the Phantom Tollbooth for more information on the future of Greenbelt. Madcap speed-folksters, Why? hope to have their next studio album on the shelves in February. Produced by an ex-member of Fat and Frantic, the newer material seems to draw from slightly more diverse influences, with the changes accentuated by the addition of keyboards and removal of violin from the lineup.

Littlehampton's other indie-popsters, Blueberry, were recently rumoured to be in talks with Sony. It appears that Sony were only interested in lead vocalist Cathy Burton. The band plan to record another EP independently and hope to record an album in the summer, possibly with a label.

Tribe of Dan will be doing a gig in Peterborough on 14th December with a whole string of other artists, for the Musicians Union. The show will feature an 'all star jam' with members of: Midget, The Kinks, Ezio and the Prodigy. The band are writing some new material and planning a string of gigs early next year. Mojo magazine rightfully described their latest album, The Bootus Red as "blistering". More information through the band index.

The well established Christmas Rock Night in Germany will this year be recorded by ICC Records for a compilation live album to be released in the new year. Christmas Rock Night was the forum that led to US record deals for Split Level, Fono, and The Electrics. This year's event will see the final performance of Grammatrain as well as appearances from a wide range of other artists from several countries.

The band also tied withNewsboys and dc Talk in fifth place for the "Song That Most Inspires You"award (for "deeper"), in third place for "Favorite Song" and their KingOf Fools album was fifth in the running for "Favorite Album".Congratulations to the d: boys.
