nameless NamelessMusic album
Fire Fly Flying High
New Cathy B album speeding its way to release
New Waves of Cephas speculation
U2 won their expected clutch of awards and Juliet Turner showed strongly in the annual readers' poll in Ireland's top music magazine, Hot Press. Juliet was third in the album of the year category behind U2 and The Corrs, fourth in the female vocalist category behind Samantha Mumba, Sinead O'Connor and Andrea Corr. She also came fifth in the songwriter section, won by Bono, polling more votes than Paul Brady, Neil Hannon and Andrea Corr. Bono picked up the best male vocalist award and U2 were voted "Best Irish Group". U2 are set to play in the UK and Ireland this summer, and Juliet Turner is expected to return to the UK mainland in May supporting the Byrds' Roger McGuinn although we're still awaiting confirmation of that.
