Skinflowers are appearing on Mike Rimmer's show on UCB Cross Rhythms this week. The Northern Ireland based band formerly known as Street Level are now Lemon Twelve and will have an album out shortly. Dum Dums Turn Down Smash Hits (01st Nov)

The Dum Dums have turned down the opportunity to take part in this year's Smash Hits tour, reportedly believing that to take part would ruin their indie credibility. The band, who are currently touring as support to Robbie Williams, have instead announced dates for their own UK tour.

Delirious? Designed (01st Nov)

Delirious? have finally updated their website with a new look and easier navigation (partly due to the move away from flash-based design). The website is labelled "version 0.1" with a promise that over the coming weeks, months and years it will continue to grow and develop. The band have just finished a tour of the USA and are preparing to take Glo on the road around the UK from next week. Also on the cards is Pro-mode, a video compilation said to include the videos for all the singles so far and maybe a few other treats for fans.

Psalmistry are on the look-out for a new vocalist after Debbie announced she felt God leading her to work more closely with her home church. The band, who must be getting used to changing vocalists by now, are looking for a vocalist who can also take part in their high energy visual performance. Room 3 Records artists Nervous Passenger have started work on recording the follow-up to their [taller trees] album. The band have a lot of material ready to go down but aren't making any promises about a release date as yet. Fellow Room 3 band IndigoEcho are also beginning to think about their next album and gather material together.

Blueprint EP (06th Nov)

Blueprint are another band getting ready to record. The group hope to have their second CD--an EP--out by Christmas through their website and some local music outlets. The EP will probably be produced by Tim Hamill who has previously worked on albums with artists including George Michael, Powder and Liquid.

Iona - Big In Japan? (07th Nov)

Iona are set to tour Japan during February next year, immediately before they head to Mexico to play the Baja Prog Rock festival. The band, all of whom will be in attendance, will play three dates in Japan between the 16th and 18th. More information can be found at www.mplant.com.

Cephas Update (07th Nov)

Pop-punkers Cephas will return to the live arena this month despite the cancellation of their 9th November show at the Agincourt in Camberley. The band are currently working on their official website and are trying to sell off the last few copies of their Happy Go Loser EP before getting to work on a follow-up. 3rd Day Changing (08th Nov)

After a number of line-up changes earlier in the year, 3rd Day Rising have changed again, with drummer Bill having moved to Surrey. He has been replaced by drum teacher Gareth Smith. The band say that their direction is no longer "Metallica" but is still rock and are currently finishing off work on a new demo before they relaunch the band in 2001.

Shorter Stories (08th Nov)

The Stud-u-Likes have split up, with bassist Lawrence Cockrill moving on to join Macarion. Barnsley based m.e.r.c.y lead are playing in HM Wolds Prison near Hull later this month and are looking for more opportunities to play in prisons. Gsus4 are working on a CD, as are Dr. Jones. The latter will be released on Mister Green Records.
