Delirious? don't look set to get much sleep over the next fortnight as they tour the country promoting "It's OK". Already playlisted by MTV UK and Ireland, the band are playing in HMV and Virgin Megastores across England as well as appearing on a variety of radio and TV shows, including Big Breakfast, XFM, and BBC Radio 2.

Why? disbanded some months ago now, but rumours are surfacing that three former members are planning to form a worship/covers band under the same name. This new band would not include founder-member Ant Parker or any other original member of the band. Ant is currently deciding whether to release a documentary video about the band which has been prepared as a momento.

The proposed Junction 1 has received a strong negative reaction from the Christian press. The New Christian Herald ran an editorial describing the festival's timing, which directly clashes with the long-running Greenbelt festival as "little short of provocative", and other sources have raised similar concerns. Greenbelt have extended their special offer on youth tickets, which are currently available for only �22 each.

Cross Rhythms have announced that their festival this year will be called "Genesis 2000: New Beginnings". The event will have a new evangelistic focus and the lineup so far includes Noel Richards, yfriday and Tomorrow's Girl.

Secret Archives of the Vatican have a busy year ahead of them. As well as working on the follow-up to their Reformation album, which may or may not turn out as a double-album, both members of the group are pursuing side projects which should result in albums later in the year. We'll keep you informed.

Aleem, a founder member of West Midlands based the r generation, has left the band to concentrate on his forthcoming a-levels. The band remain confident, however, and are currently auditioning new members. Aleem remains the band's webmaster.

The new album from Cheltenham-based Skinflowers has been delayed for an extra month. Cheltenham's popular live music venue the Axiom, which was to have hosted the album launch, has closed down and the band have decided to use the extra time afforded by rescheduling the launch to concentrate on polishing the songs further. The album (still as yet untitled) will now release on April 2nd

Dep4 have amicably parted company with New Dawn Music and are planning an independent album launch in the late Spring. The group, which is based around singer/songwriter Tony Cornish, are working hard to make sure their website is up to date with information and sound clips.

Juliet Turner is currently in the studio working on tracks for the follow-up to her underrated debut, Let's Hear It For Pizza. The Electrics have recently recorded a cover of "Bad Indigestion" (originally performed by the Lost Dogs) for an upcoming tribute album to Terry Taylor/Daniel Amos. Julie Lord has recently revamped and moved her website. The Obstreperous, a recent addition to our band database, start work on their first album in April.

Delirious? have entered the top 20 for the fourth time with their latest single "It's OK", which reached number 3 in the indie charts. A busy week touring record shops helped the band sell nearly 17,000 units, 8,000 short of the sales which saw "Deeper" become their first top 20 single. The band are not planning to put on another full UK tour until after the summer. They are planning to release two new albums this year, one of which will be a follow-up to Mezzamorphis while the other will contain some new "worship" material. The band's song "Come Like You Promise" will be featured on the long-running drama "London's Burning" on April 9th. The live version will be featured.

Iona are putting the finishing touches to their new album, Open Sky which should be mastered for immediate release this month. "It's a real departure from previous Iona albums," bassist Phil Barker tells us. He says that it's "very positive and the theme is the unseen spiritual realm that envelopes us." Look for some preview clips from the album soon at this site. The band have been confirmed as one of the acts for this year's Cross Rhythms festival and one of Troy Donockley's solo tracks will be used on a BBC2 North programme about Flamborough Head tomorrow.

Martyn Joseph's been asked to support Shirley Bassey on her "Millennium Tour" in May and June this year. Martyn's increasing the emphasis on his website as the key place to find out about his music. The site is currently being redesigned and will soon be able to offer credit card ordering and more. A new monthly e-mail newsletter has just been launched. Members of his fanclub, the "Passport Queue" will be receiving an exclusive CD with the next mailing.

Jonny Baker of Jonnys In The Basement informs us that he's been hard at work preparing a "labyrinth" in St. Paul's Cathedral. Labyrinths are used in a number of continental cathedrals as aids to prayer and meditation, and this particular venture will involve donning a discman which will provide meditations and music as you venture around a prepared pathway. It's on from the 6th-10th March between 10am-12.30 and 1.30-4pm. The CD is described as "very chilled" and will be available for sale, along with an instrumental version.

Following an encouraging turnout for their instore appearance at the Virgin Megastore in Edinburgh, IndigoEcho have recently finished a northern tour and are preparing to visit Northern Ireland. The band recently received a very positive review from the editor of Smash Hits. Clive Parnell has been in London recentlybuilding up contacts and expect to see the band at various summer festivals.
