Archer Brews up a storm (18th Aug)

Among Iain Archer's current projects is his role in new band Brew, along with Dee Ellington and former Beehive bass player, Paul Lancaster. The band's recent show at the Borderline in London drew an all star crowd, including members of U2 and their management amongst others. Two days later Archer returned to his roots with a mostly acoustic set, supporting Vigilantes of Love at the Garage in Highbury. Look out for an entry for Brew in the band index soon.

Legg on TV (18th Aug)

Following a successful first appearance on ITV's Sunday Programme on the 27th June, Jenny and Alex Legg returned to the show on Sunday to perform material from their ICC distributed True Stories. The couple closed out the show with the song "I Believe" which was also a popular part of their Greenbelt set.

Martyn Joseph's new song, "I am a liberal backslider" is a humorous look at the label many have dismissed him with. The seasoned singer-songwriter is still definitely appropriate for inclusion here and hoping to have a new album out this autumn, to be accompanied by a comprehensive UK tour.

Sammy Horner is currently preparing to take his latest Celtic Praise album on the road. Accompanying Sammy on the tour will be a number of other musicians,including Shona MacDonald. There will be dates in England and Northern Ireland as well as Scotland. Despite some interest in the albums from the US, they have yet to receive distribution over there.

World Wide Message Tribe's new album, Frantik is due for release on the 19th September. It has been preceded by a CD single featuring the title cut in album and extended mixes as well as another album track "Truth". The group also has several new teaching materials available.

Movation Records have been commissioned to produce another Sanctified Dance Party for Radio One this Christmas. This year's show will once again be hosted by World Wide Message Tribe frontman Cameron Dante and will feature a range of uplifting dance tunes.

Boxes of the breakfast cereal Golden Grahams currently come complet ewith one of a series of CDs containing a selection of pop tunes. Good news for delirious? is that cereal eaters across the country will find one of their songs on the second (blue) disc.

Shining On (01st Sep)

Work has begun at Perfect Music on the new Shine album. Produced by Zarc Porter, the album will receive a worldwide release through Reunion Records early next year. The group have been booked for DC/LA 2000 and will probably be doing a major US festival tour next summer. The album is also due to feature a singing legend whose identity has yet to be revealed.

The group hopes to join the other Message groups in evangelistic work, but in the meantime are working on some recording projects.

She may have sung that she dreamed of Brian Kennedy, but now Juliet Turner will be supporting him for four nights at Dublin's Vicar's Street. Juliet has quite a string of dates coming up, and also hopes to have completed the latest demo for her next album by the end of September.
