Movation On-Line (04th Nov)

Movation Records, home to WWMT, Jumping In The House of God, Raze, and more are now on the web at http://www.movation.co.uk. Zarc Porter has been doing remixing work for a new Nik Kershaw single called 'Somebody Loves You' which is due for release in January and also working with Tedd T on production work for a new Raze album which is due for release next year, after December's EP release.

New Christian Nightclub in Birmingham (04th Nov)

A new club called Purple is having its first event on Wednesday 11th November in the function room of the Farce & Firkin in Birmingham. World Wide Message Tribe are planning a UK tour for September next year! In the meantime they have a number of live dates booked for the next few months. WWMT recently hit number one on New Zealand's Christian Radio Network with Hypocrite and are also charting well at UCB.

Fabulous indie-popsters Flow have unveiled their new website at: http://www.flowlife.com. Worth checking out just for the "propaganda" section, its also worth looking into the band if you're looking for a hooky indie-pop kinda thing. After some scares about vocalist Helen's voice the band are now back to recording and hope to have something for producer Peter Van Hooke to start pushing to record labels very soon.

Delirious? Keeping the Momentum (18th Nov)

The next release from the delirious? stable will be a book, Purepop?, charting the growth of the band and their continuing mission to take their chunky-pop songs to the wider public. The band's recent showcase at London's Shepherd's Bush Empire was quite a success both with the fans and the 120 or so music industry insiders who were present. The new album is to be entitled Mezzamorphis and Furious? Records are currently in talks with Virgin Records... more news as it comes in. The official Delirious? website is now up at http://www.delirious.co.uk but unfortunately makes such extensive use of Shockwave that many of us can't get in.

Continuing with websites, New Dawn Music, a UK based record label and music publisher, has just announced the opening of their new website. The label has already released critically acclaimed albums by Loose Goose and As If... with Michael Cameron's to follow soon.

Produced in association with the Britlinks the site features new, reviews, photos, biographies, and sound bytes of its artists as well as the opportunity to order product over the web with a credit card.

Continuing The Race (18th Nov)

We were told that the original lineup of Race would not gig together. We were told wrongly. This jaz-tinged pop act from Bournemouth will be bringing together the original lineup again at Christmas for at least one show, maybe more. Their CDs continue to sell fast and good reviews are coming in along with radio play. Find more about Race in the band index.
